Role: Trainee / Junior Technical Test Engineer
Location: Nottingham - Onsite
Starting Salary: £25k+ DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday - Early finish Friday 1pm
Type: Permanent

An established Manufacturing Business are looking for a Trainee / Junior Technical Test Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have an interest in Electrical Engineering and an Engineering Certificate e.g. City & Guild or equivalent.

We are looking for someone who has some of the below experience or who wants to learn and develop as full training is on offer.

• Diagnose and repair complex PCB's
• Operating technical apparatus - oscilloscope, signal generator etc
• Hand soldering skills - 'through-hole' and SMD
• Experience and Development you will gain
• Understanding and following detailed circuit diagrams
• Diagnosing and repairing of multilayer PCBs to component level
• Basic understanding of networking systems
• Basic understanding of software
• Working with a variety of mains voltages
• Completing product and system test procedures and documentation
• Ability to resolve issues during testing
• Preparing and conducting of 'Factory Acceptance Tests'
