Role: CAD Engineer
Location: Nottingham - Onsite
Salary: up to £35k DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday - Early finish Friday 1pm
Type: Permanent
An established Manufacturing business are looking for an experienced Cad Engineer to join their Projects team on a full-time permanent basis.

We are looking for someone who has the following experience and qualifications

• Technical Engineering certificate qualified in relevant engineering discipline or relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of relevant software especially Auto CAD, MS WORD and EXCEL and Visio
• Experience in a similar rolE
• Proficient in the use of 2D Auto CAD drawing package
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems

What will you be doing?

• Working in conjunction with project and product design engineers to create AUTO CAD drawings of products and system designs, for example:

Equipment General Arrangement drawings, System block diagrams, System cabling termination drawings , Equipment internal wiring drawings , Wiring schedules , Mechanical assembly drawings, Metalwork manufacturing drawings , Bills of materials , Pre contract drawings

• Working with product designers and project engineers to assist with equipment build, ensuring that equipment is built in accordance with drawings and schedules
• Filing away drawings in accordance with company procedures taking into account any project / product requirements
• Ensuring that the requirements of the company ISO 9000 quality systems are adhered to at all times
