Role: Assistant Store Manager
Salary: £26,700 Plus Bonus OTE £30,400
Hours: Monday to Friday, Weekends on Rota basis
Location: Darlington
Type: Permanent

Our client are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to maximise sales in their retail store, ensuring customers have a fantastic experience whilst supporting the day to day management of the store. The ideal candidate will possess coaching and leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for supervising staff, driving sales, and ensuring the store operates efficiently.

What you will be doing

• Contribute to sales to achieve store turnover targets
• Supervise staff, providing training/coaching
• Stand in for Store Manager
• Support control of stock and shrinkage
• Maintain administration standards
• Designated key holder
• Initiate and implement effective sales ideas with Store Manager
• Maintain effective visual merchandising for product range
• Promote and maintain safe working practices

Skills & Experience required

• Retail store supervisory experience is a must
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in sales management with a track record of achieving targets
• Strong administrative skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of service

My Client offer a competitive base salary of £26,700 plus additional bonus/commission based on the stores performance against KPIs OTE £30,400.
