James Kay Associates have a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to continue their career in HR or start their career in a rewarding and crucial part of any business.
In this role you will be trained in all areas of HR and have the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship in HR Support Level 3.
What you will be doing:
- Proactive communication and liaison with all internal departments and stores to provide generalist HR advice
- Optimising the efficiency and performance of the HR Department through maintenance and development of systems
- Co-ordinating the recruitment process in conjunction with the Admin team
- Assist with disciplinary and grievance procedures, to include producing documentation, providing advice and attending as a note taker
- Supporting dept. heads with absence management, including policy application,
expediting associated meetings and escalation if required
- Record and report HR data, maintaining the accuracy of the HR database
- Assist with delivery of training programmes, including production of course material
Experience / skills required:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Knowledge of HR, policies and procedures
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation skills
- Passionate about HR and development
